This fic takes place after GW, but only about a week or so before EW. Ending happens after EW.

Duo's happy-go-lucky attitude had been the best part of him. It was the source of great admiration. He never would have thought he would use it to woo a girl like Hilde to him. It was the best moment of his life when they shared their first kiss. It was like the whole world stopped just so they could stay in each other's arm for an eternity. Then he had to leave her and fight for peace and for love. He hadn't actually admitted that he loved her. It was intentional though. He used it as inspiration and motivation in the following battles. ' I'll get back to you…somehow, and tell you how much I love you' he would always think to himself. He was rather surprised when her received her distress call. After rescuing her, Duo didn't know whether to angry or sad. She promised that she'd stay there until he returned. But, she was hurt badly and he was worried about her. Eventually the war ended and Hilde recovered completely. Christmas was nearing and he was preparing a nice candlelight dinner for them to enjoy. Suddenly, the door squeaked open and Hilde stepped into the darkened room. It was rather unexpected and so she dropped the bag of groceries on the floor.

"Wha…what's all this for, Duo. Did you win the lottery or something?" said Hilde.

"No," duo smirked as he gazed at her. He put his hands into his right pocket and played with the small object that he was secretly carrying. He had more plans then just the dinner. "I just wanted us to have a romantic evening together, that's all."

Duo grabbed her arm and led her to her seat. He then went over to the other seat and they both began eating the magnificent feast Duo had prepared. Duo was beginning to make Hilde nervous. He was constantly staring and grinning evilly at her. Oddly, when they were finished eating, Duo just grabbed Hilde's arm and took her into the bedroom. He sat her on the bed and he just lay on his back. Hilde couldn't stand the secret any longer.

"Ok, Duo what's this all about?" Hilde said sternly.

It was now that Duo was becoming nervous. Throughout the day he had been fantasizing about Hilde, Sex and anything else that would get him into 'the mood'. His erection was beginning to scream for release, but he was now realizing just how much he really loved her. Had it have been any sooner he was planning this, he would have tied her to the bed if he had to. But he kept thinking of how she might feel if he were to suddenly force himself upon her. He made up his mind. He would find another way to satisfy his passion and wait until the day comes when Hilde is ready. Besides, he hadn't told her that he loved her yet.

"Nothing important," Duo said casually, rubbing his fingers on her cheeks. Just then he had an idea. " I just wanted to rest a bit before I went out." Duo got up and heading out the room. Hilde also got off the bed and chased after him.

"You're going out? Why? Where to?" Hilde voice was full of concern.

"I'm just going out for a walk. I won't be long OK, baby? Bye!" Duo shut the door behind him.

'That was strange,' Hilde thought to herself 'Oh well'. She cleaned up the table, put the groceries away and headed into the shower. After she got out she was feeling just a teeny bit hungry so she went to the fridge. Before opening it she noticed a note that was on it. Meet Heero, Saturday 8pm. Bring 'package'.

"Uh oh!" Hilde gasped " I forgot I was supposed to meet Heero at 8:00. That means I've got only 25 minutes!"

Hilde quickly got dressed. She also went into the closet and grabbed a small red shoebox. In a flash, she was out the door and running as fast as she could to Heero's.

Hilde had finally made it to Heero's doorstep. 'Still 5 minutes early' she thought to herself. Hilde rang the doorbell. No answer. She rang it again. No answer. Then she banged on the door. Still no answer. Then he noticed that Heero's door, which is usually always locked, was unlocked. She opened the door and stepped inside. Just then, she heard a scream from upstairs.

"That sounded like Heero!!" Hilde gasped. Quickly she ran upstairs, stopping in front of Heero's bedroom door. She then carefully opened the she box and took out the gun that was in it. Duo had taken one of Heero's guns and had taken it home. Hilde wanted to bring it back. She hated the thought of a gun in her home. After only a few seconds she burst open the door and aimed the gun into the room.

"AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!" Heero screamed.

Hilde looked on the bed and saw a naked Heero lying on the bed and a naked Duo on top of him. The only words she could speak were. "Here's your gun back…"

After an hour of explaining from Duo, Hilde became less angry.

"So you wanted to do it with me, but you were afraid that I would say no. So you came here to 'relieve' yourself. Ok, that's fine with me." Hilde said calmly. 'Hmmm. I've got an idea.'

"You mean you're not mad? I just practically cheated on you and you don't care!!??" shouted Duo

"Well…. I'll forgive you if you…."Hilde trailed off.

"What do you want us to do?" Heero inquired.

Hilde went over to Duo's pants that were all bunched up on the floor. She reached into the pocket and pulled out the condom that duo was fiddling with earlier.

"HOW THE HECK DID YOU KNOW THAT WAS IN THERE??!!!" Duo yelled.

"I saw it when you were getting ready to leave. When you got off the bed I saw it. Oh, and by the way. You told me you loved me before and after our first kiss, genius. So do ya wanna?" Hilde was unusually cheerful sounding.

"…Ok." Choked Duo and Heero.

Hilde began to take off her clothes, making sure to tease them by doing it slowly. When she was only in her bra and underwear she joined them on the bed. She was nervous, but it was what she always wanted. She loved Duo with all her heart. She also likes Heero A LOT!!!! It would be her first time so they agreed that Duo would get go first.

Heero began to remove her bra while Duo took off her underwear. She was now completely naked. Heero got things started by placing his hand on her breast and squeezing it gently. Duo placed his tongue on the inside of her thighs and moved it around in small circles. Hilde gasped and rubbed Heero's soft, dark hair. Then Duo spread her legs open farther and placed his mouth over her unexplored womanhood. That made her moan very loudly. Heero placed his tongue in her mouth and began to play with her hardening nipples.

Duo's rock hard erection had returned and he removed his mouth to ask if she was ready. Hilde nodded and turned over on her knees. While Duo was putting on the condom, Heero laid in from of Hilde. Duo was finally ready got behind her and pushed himself gently inside of her. Hilde dropped Heero's length for a moment as she moaned. It was painful, but only for a moment. Once Duo had started to move she began sucking on Heero again. Heero brought his hand up and held Hilde's head. He looked up at Duo who was totally filled with the same extreme pleasure as he was.

"Uhhh…Duo" Hilde said quietly.

"Don't worry about it. You know all of us were tested." said Heero.

'Wouldn't be any different of he DID remember to wear it' Hilde silently said to herself as they all laid cuddled to each other in the soft bed.

The war has ended (again) and Hilde invites everyone over to her and Duo's place for an announcement. Even Duo doesn't know what it is.

"I've gathered everyone here to make a special announcement.1…" Hilde is cut off by Duo.

"Wait! I want to say something first." Duo reached into his pocket and took out a velvet box. "Hilde, I know you hate it when I get a mushy around everyone so…Will you marry me?"

Everyone applauds as Duo puts the ring on her finger and Hilde accepts. Hilde is trying to hold back her tears of joy.

"Oh my gosh, Duo. I LOVE YOU!!!" Hilde said as she leaped into his arms. Quatre opened a bottle of wine and gave everyone a drink. Then she remembered what she was really there for. " By the way…I'm pregnant."

Duo nearly choked on his drink. And so did everyone else.

"Huh…wha……AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!"
