Part One
Sally stood up and walked to the bedroom she shared with Wufei. She heard him walking behind her. She was not giving him the benefit of the doubt. She really didn't want to discuss this any further. Her mind was made up and she was going.
"Weak onna, Hrump! Indeed!" She muttered under breath as she pack a few items in her duffel bag.
Wufei stood against the wall as she packed. He wanted to grab her and tie her down so she wouldn't go. Bur he couldn't. He wouldn't.
Sally picked up the coffee cup off the dresser , where she had placed it as she packed.
Wufei stared at her sullenly.
She looked at him and sighed."I have a mission to go on. Une has assigned Noin and Me to an undercover mission." She paused waiting for him to protest again, but he didn't .. just stared at her. " Fine, Wufei, If that's the way you feel, I'll come get my things after the mission. I wouldn't want to be anywhere where I'm not wanted."
She brushed past him and went through the house.
Wufei followed her . He watched her walked to the door and turn to him.
"Good bye ,Wufei." She said, softly.
He crossed his arms.
She shook her head and turned to go. She only hesitated a moment before she went out the door.
He heard the door slam, before he actually focused on it and slumped against the wall. His tough demeanor all but gone.
"Shit."

Wufei stood back up as he heard the car start. He shook his head and thought back to a few hours before......
Flashback:
"You cannot go on this mission! You will get your self killed! It's dangerous!" He had shouted at her.
She had been pouring them each a cup of coffee, when he began to rant at her.
She had leaned nonchalantly against the counter and let him rant and rave at her. She had been watching him the whole time.
She smiled at him and said, "What, Wufei, afraid there will be no-one here to take care of you?" She had asked with a little laugh.
He had looked at her and crossed his arms. "If you do not take this seriously, Sally, I will not speak to you anymore."
"Well, that'll be a relief! " She had replied sarcastically." Sometimes you talk as much as Duo does!"
Wufei's eyes had widen in shock and he had stalked out of the room. Sally had not followed asking for forgiveness this time. He could see her still by the counter drinking her coffee.
He had returned to the room and proceeded to Yell at her all over again. She had gotten mad this time.
"YOU WILL NOT TELL ME WHAT TO DO,CHANG WUFEI!!!!i I AM NOT A WEAK ONNA! I WILL DO THIS MISSION! I DONOT NEED YOUR BLESSING .! STOP BEING SO SELFISH!" She had turned away from him.
Wufei suddenly realized he had gone to far this time, and he would be losing the only other woman he had ever loved. Merian would have understood. She too had been a strong woman. HE then said one of the dumbest thing he had ever said.
"If you take this mission, don't come back here."
"Fine, Wufei If that's what you want."
Sally hadn't spoke to him until she left.

Sally climbed into the front seat and tossed the duffel in the back seat.
Noin looked over at her friend. "Well, how did he take it."
Sally signed. "He said if I took this mission, not to return, So I guess I'll be moving when we get back." Sally said , softly.
Noin looked at her friend. "Oh, god Sally, I'm sorry."
Sally shook her head. "I can be just as stubborn as he can be. And I'm not giving up this mission because Wufei gave me an ultimatum."
Sally turned her head away. She didn't want Noin to see her tears.
When they got to Headquarters, the girls went to Une's office. Noin looked over to her friend, then to Une.
"Sally? Are you OK? You sure you're up to this?"
Sally looked up at Une and nodded.
"Don't worry Sally. I'm sure he'll come around."
Sally just smiled.

Sally loaded her gun and aimed it into the hall. They were almost done and someone had spotted them. Sally had sent Noin on ahead to get a shuttle. Sally had placed all the bombs and was leaving when someone yelled. Sally started to fire at the voice. She ran from cover and to where Noin was waiting.
She heard the bullets whiz past her as she ran. She felt the tug at her sleeve as she stumbled to the shuttle. She flew into it and yelled for Noin to go. She flopped into the send chair and sighed. It had taken too long to get what they needed to do done. Sally pushed the detonator she held in her hand.
Several explosions shook the building as they few out of the base. Noin looked over at Sally as she pulled the shuttle into space.
"Sally! You're hurt!"
Sally looked at her arm and clasped the wound. "It's nothing."

It had been a week and no one had heard from the women. WuFei paced his office. Une had been quite short with him when he asked her questions. He was worried. They should have checked in. It was procedure, Unless something happened and they couldn't...... He stopped himself and walked to his desk. His paper work was piling up. He just couldn't concentrate. She had been extremely angry with him... He guessed he deserved it. He had been treating her as his possession, instead of a person. He looked at the crumpled blankets on his small couch. He hadn't been home in days, He hadn't really slept in days for that matter. He missed her. She was part of him. And he hated to admit that to himself. Love had made him weak. It had made him weak with Merian and she had died because of his weakness and her strongness. Sally was a strong woman. How was he ever going to convince her to come back home?
He paced more . He couldn't get her off his mind. He was completely in love with her, he had to admit it to himself. How would he tell her. What if she ..........
There was a rap at the door. Wufei looked up and relaxed his face.
"Enter." He said crisply. It was Maxwell. He could see Hilde standing a slight way behind him. He actually envied Duo. He could show Hilde how he felt. He was always kissing her and holding her hand. Even when He (Wufei) would harass him for it.
"What do you want, Maxwell? I'm busy."
"Yeah, right."
Wufei crossed his arms and stared at Duo.
"Yeah, well. We heard from Noin. They are on their way back. Sally was shot."
Wufei stiffened and muttered under his breath, "Damn onna."
"What? Did you hear me, Wufei? Sally's been....."
Wufei turned to Duo and sneered through clenched teeth, "Yes, I heard you, Maxwell."
Duo took a step back and said, "You know if you would apologize to her, It would solve most of your problems"
"What?!" Wufei shouted in Duo's face, balling up his fists. "What you know about it?" He questioned.
"I know that some times it 's OK to admit you are wrong."
"Kisama!" Wufei yelled and hit Duo in the face. Duo crumpled to the floor, holding his nose. Wufei stepped over him and said, "You are weak. That woman has made you weak."
"Maybe. But I'd rather be weak than a fool."
Wufei huffed and left the office.
Hilde rushed in after Wufei had stalked down the hall.
"Oh, Duo! what did you say?" She asked as she gently pulled his hands away from his nose. "Couldn't you deliver the message without tormenting him?"
Duo groaned," I did deliver the message, Hilde! I told him he should apologize to Sally and he hit me!" He looked at her. "I'll never give him advice again!"
Hilde pulled him into her arms and said, "Oh, Duo! You tried. You can't tell someone as stubborn as he is anything. He'll have to decide for himself."

Wufei hurried to Une's office. He knocked and entered. She looked up at him. "They are going to be coming into shuttle bay area 18. Go down and wait for them. You can debrief them."
Wufei nodded curtly.
"Wufei. Sally will need to go to the infirmary when they arrive."
He crossed him arms as if to say so? "Should I care?"
"Well, " She sighed, "The way you've been moping around here , I would think so."
He snorted. "She will apologize to me!"
Une rolled her eyes. "Whatever, Wufei." She had become use to his outbursts. She didn't know how Sally could deal with it.

Wufei paced outside the hanger doors as the shuttle approached. His thoughts kept drifting to their fight.
He could apologize.... No! Then he would be weak. She had to come to him. He could feel his resolve slipping as he saw the shuttle glide into the hanger.
"Sally" HE whispered.
Noin came out holding a bloody Sally. Wufei hurried to the women's sides. He tried to take Sally from Noin. Sally pushed him away and muttered. "Go away, Wufei."
He stepped back and let them pass.
He stood in shocked silence as Heero came up to him. He had seen the whole incident in the control room. "Go and apologize to her. Don't be stubborn. It will get you know where. We all know how much you care for her. Follow your emotions."
Wufei watched Heero walk away. He balled up his fists. He needed her. He loved her. He needed her to come home.

He walked to the infirmary, looking through each curtained area. He h eard voices and recognized one as Sally's He followed the sound. He pulled back the curtain and saw her. She looked pale and tired. Hilde was talking to her. When Hilde saw Wufei she made a hasty retreat, telling Sally she would come back later.
Wufei soaked her in. God! He had Missed her!
She looked up at him. How could she even think to stay mad at him. "Hello, Wufei."
His heart melted at her look at him.
"We need to talk."
"Yes, I know."
He fidgeted a bit and then opened his mouth to speak. "Sally. I have come to apologize. I was wrong. I have no right to hold you back. I was being selfish. I want you for myself. I don't want to share you. I hurt you and I am sorry. Please forgive me.. Sally." His voice almost took on a pleading tone.
She filched as she shifted in the bed.
"Are you hurt badly?" He asked, concern flooding his voice.
"No, not to serious. Just the blood loss." She replied to him.
There was a quiet pause. It was heavy on the air.
"Sally" came his choked voice." I _ want _ you _ to _ come_ home! I......I need you and I ....well...I love you.:"
Sally frowned and asked, "What? You better repeat what you said."
Wufei hung his head. "You need it repeated?" He paused, "Yes Of course....." He heard slight noise. He turned toward the curtain and glared.
"I will say it loud enough for all of you to hear. " He raised his voice. "Sally Po. I'm sorry I have been a fool. I love you, Sally and if you will come home I'll make it up to you."
Sally eyes shot open wide. "Wufei.... I .."
"Also, I love you. Will you marry me?"
"What?"
"I'm waiting, woman."
"I... I love you , too, Wufei. But about Marriage."
"I will not offer again." He said, slyly.
Sally grinned, "Oh. really? Perhaps, I shall take you up on your offer."
Wufei leaned down and kissed her hard on the lips. He stood up and said. "Come out, now."
The curtain parted and everyone came out from behind it.
Wufei nodded to Heero. "Thank you, Heero"
Duo looked from Heero to Wufei then back to Heero." But It was my idea."
Hilde grasped his hand.
"And, Maxwell, I am sorry I hit you."
"Yeah, whatever." Duo said a bit miffed. "Come on everybody, let's let the love birds make up."
When it was quiet , Wufei turned back to Sally.
She spoke first, "Was it really duo that told you to apologize to me?"
"Yes. He's been hanging around his onna too much."
Sally smiled. "I think you hurt his feelings."
"Perhaps. I shall make it up to him later."
Part Two
WuFei walked through the quiet house. Sally had been called to the Preventer's office for an emergency. Some of the others Preventers had come in from a mission and had be injured. Sense she was a doctor, she had been the first called in.
WuFei wondered what group had come in wounded. Duo and Hilde were with Heero watching over Relena. WuFei smile slightly. No matter how much Heero protested that he didn't care about her, he jumped at the first opportunity to protect her. WuFei was the only Preventer not on a mission right now.
He walked to the kitchen and looked out the window. It was getting dark. Perhaps he could go.....the phone rang.
"Chang." WuFei said, as he answered it. "Hm........Yes..........Of course...........I'll be right there." *Damn!*

Preventer Headquarters:
Duo paced back and forth in the hallway . Relena sat flopped in a chair near by. Both were impatiently waiting for Sally to come and tell them anything. Relena sobbed softly as she looked down at the floor.
Duo kept pacing back and forth.
WuFei walked into the hallway and looked at the pair.
He smirked and said . "Maxwell. You will wear a hole in the floor if you don't stop pacing."
Duo looked up at the sound of WuFei's voice. "WuFei! Hey." Duo tried to sound cheerful but it wasn't working.
WuFei was a bout to make a rude remark, but the haunted and almost lost look in Duo's eyes stopped him. He looked over at Relena and realized that he was in the same position a few weeks ago. Sally's wound had long healed and they were on good terms... almost better than before.
He looked at the both of them and said. "They are in Sally's hands. She will take good care of them."
Duo slightly grinned and Relena smiled up at him.
He looked over at Duo and said, "I understand you caught the perp."
"Yeah, but he shot Heero and Hilde before we could stop him." Duo hung his head. "I blame my self. I should have been pay more attention."
WuFei crossed his arms and opened his mouth, but Relena spoke before he could. "Duo! You can't blame your self for this!"
"Yes I can," He hissed, "Heero would have never let this happen."
Relena Opened her mouth, but WuFei raised his hand. She watched him walk to Duo.
"Duo. You are not to blame. How do you know what Heero would have done. From what I understand from the sketchy reports I have received, the both of them acted honorable. I have not received your report yet. I will expect it after You have heard about Heero and Hilde. "He paused, then continued," I understand they stepped in front of both of you?"
Duo nodded and Relena whispered a quiet yes.
"Hm." He looked at the both of them. Heero loves you very much, Relena."
She nodded, " I guess so."
WuFei turned to Duo. "Hilde loves you very much, also?"
"Yeah."
WuFei was about to say more when Sally appeared in the hall. She stopped and saw the three of them.
She sighed and walked toward them.
"Relena. Heero will be fine. He will be laid up for a while so we'll appoint you a different body guard."
"No, " Relena replied looking at Sally. " I will cancel all my meetings until Heero is well. I will watch over him."
Sally smiled. Then she turned to Duo. "Hilde will be fine but she will be laid up like Heero is. There is also some thing else. I'm not sure even Hilde knows it yet."
Duo looked up at Sally. "What is it?"
"She pregnant."
Duo's eyes got big and he smiled. "What room is she in? Can I go see her?"
"Room 234, Duo. Relena, Heero's in room 245."
WuFei couldn't help but make one jab at the startled Shinigami. "Perhaps you should make her an honest woman now, eh?'
Duo grinned, Maybe I will if she'll have me."
Sally smiled again as she watched them walk down the hall to each of their lovers. She then turned to WuFei.
"Hey, I heard what you said to Duo. You ol' softy."
"It does not this room, Onna."
What if they blab?"
Relena is honorable. Maxwell is known as a braid baka but he's honest and trust worthy ."
Sally smiled again and reached for his hand.
"Oh, Wu..."
He came close to her. "Do you wish to come with me to see this prisoner? I fear he will need medical attention."
"Wu! What do you plan to do?"
"Get some answers. This person has a boss and I intend to find out who it is. He also put two of my team in the hospital."
Sally smiled. This was the WuFei she loved.
